A little advice that I have learnt from Harold G, United States.
No one can motivate me, and no one can motivate you.
I become motivated when I want to do something–the same is true with everyone.
You and I–and everyone–can be inspired, however. Situations and other people CAN inspire each of us too.
Inspiration then becomes the catalyst to our becoming motivated. In other words, something or someone can inspire us to want to do something. That being said, as was mentioned, do what you need to do. Leadership begins when we take the necessary steps toward doing great things whether or not anyone else follows us immediately.
Continue inspiring others through communication-and always continue to lead by example. Someone will notice. Maybe someone in your current team, or someone who hasn’t yet arrived….Nonetheless you will be an inspiration to those who are “inspirable.”
